My name is Derrick Roberts and I work together with my wife to hand craft and carve one of a kind pieces of beautiful art.
Our flags started out of the love for family, honor for the sacrifice of those who have served and respect for those who have given more than what was asked. My grandfather served his 20 year career in the military among the ships in the Navy and was stationed on the U.S.S. Enterprise. After retiring from the Navy, he then continued his service at our local Airforce Base for another 35 years. He, along with my grandmother, are the people who helped mold me into who I am today and don't know where I would be without them. Between him (Dale Wood) and my grandmother (Wanda Moore), they are the reason we are Moore Wood Flags.
Every single flag and piece of work that we make is crafted with the best of our ability right here in the USA. As a small town business with integrity, we refuse to have "shoddy" work leave our shop. If I wouldn't be proud to display it in my home, I wouldn't be willing to let you hang it in yours.
